Nickname: Pink, after the catgirl from the anime series Dragon Pink. >^_^<
Height: 5' 5"
Eyes: Hazel
Hair: Currently growing back out to my natural brown, ending in some blackish and green
Status: Slightly Bi, little crazy in a good way, fun-loving and good-natured.
I spend my free time reading and studying personal interests, working on my projects, playing video games, watching movies with friends, heading to local SCA events, supporting the Pagan Campus Organization, and may drop in on the Anime Club from time to time. I used to go to the local LARP games, but not so much anymore. Depending on the time of year, I may be working on a detailed costume.
Music
Almost anything, I love all kinds of music! ATC, Rollergirl, Cascada, Fantasy Twins, Ian Van Dahl, DJ Sammy, Zox, Paranoid Social Club, Inkubus Sukkubus, Nightwish, Loreena McKennitt, Medieval Babes, Blackmore's Night, Gaelic Storm, Flogging Molly, Savage Garden, David Bowie, Placebo, The Doors, The Killers, Nickelback, Three Days Grace, Billy Idol's Cyberpunk album, Aerosmith, Evanescence, Disturbed, System of a Down, (hed) Planet Earth, Ben Folds Five, Dave Navarro, Garbage, Linkin Park, Madonna, Marilyn Manson, Michelle Branch, Our Lady Peace, Tom Petty, Bryan Adams, Sting, Journey, lots of old sappy love songs, Jefferson Starship, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, Grass Roots, Cream, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Barry McGuire, and too damn many others from the 50s to now, especially 80s (lots of the 80s "hair bands"!). A couple faves right now are Nickelback and Three Days Grace. But yeah, nearly everything.

Books
Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, stories by Stephen King, Watership Down, most things on Greek mythology, the Sandman graphic novels, valuable materials regarding spiritual studies and awareness.
Hobbies
Far too varied to really get into here, but briefly, I enjoy work involving computers, especially digital graphics and web design, I love music - all kinds, I prefer action, sci-fi, and horror movies, especially vampire movies, preferred reading materials are Greek mythology and Anne Rice novels (so I have a thing for vampires, ok). I love Halloween, and making costumes, and creating things, pretty much anything. I like artwork, especially drawing and sculpting, and photography. I adore cats. My favorite sports are hockey and football. I love snowmobiling and would love to get one and an ATV. I also like anime and pretty things from Japan.
I love finding new things to do and try. Always looking for something entertaining.
Kinda going through the experimental, willing to try almost anything stage of life, I suppose. I love snowmobiling, and I would love to learn to ride a motorcycle, get an ATV, and a wave runner. I seem to have a thing for racing. I would also like to go hang gliding, and learn to fly small planes and helicopters. I've also always wanted to learn to ride horses, and I intend to work on some martial arts stuff when I have time to learn. Obviously, I want to do way more than I have money to fund, but I hope I get to do this stuff some day. >^_^<
*whew* Takin' a little break here while the littlest one watches Ni Hao, Kai-lan! (love that show!), and the boys are on their errand. Got all the food checked for ants and put away in the fridge. >^_^<
Today we took a few hours off from our current car crisis (yay for Zeus' semi-reliable old van that can take over for a bit in a crunch), the out-of-time panic for packing, and last stuff for the SCA campout next weekend (yikes..), to head out to the Pagan Campus Org picnic that Krista set up. >^_^< She was there with her husband Lee and their little baby, and Jen Haley was there with her little one, for everyone from way back who knows her. >^_^< She has a new last name now. So, this ended up the first PaCO event in history that was all pagan parents and kids. >^_^<
We had a blast. The kids had a great time out in the Ornamental Gardens. I packed up some lunch stuff with some of my tupperware containers and little bento tupperware containers for nifty compartmentalization. I kind of wish I'd had more time, and maybe could have put more into containers and saved more on the plastic bags, but it was probably the best it could have been anyway- we only needed two bags, and I brought spares for dirty stuff and garbage. All the veggies and small stuff made it to containers, even a couple of condiments. Yeah, yeah, I'm all bento-obsessed lately.. >^_^< Anyway..
Jen had to head out a little earlier than the rest of us. We had some nice conversation about gardening/home-grown vegetables before she left. Yay gardening! >^_^< Later on, Zeus and Lee kept the kids busy playing in the tree for a while, and wandering around. The kids got me, Lee, and Zeus all into their game of "swing us around", resulting in mass dizziness all around. I got some good photos during the picnic, and after the kids had me into their swinging games, I had to try and sneak to my camera for a couple more shots, but I got a few. Oh well, yay swinging kids around..?
Ah, and there was the brave little chipmunk. I wish I'd gotten a photo, I love cute little animals and even when I manage to get out my camera I rarely get a nice photo of them. But a move towards my purse would have spooked it even sooner than the kids did, probably. It was brave, though. The kids watched it for a minute before running after it, and it circled around some bushes to come right back over to where it was, right next to the rest of us. >^_^< The kids tried to approach it again, and this time it went somewhere that it stayed away. It was very cute. >^_^<
I need a quick-draw camera holster for these things. Something good and comfy so I won't consider it too uncomfortable or be too lazy to wear it all the time, just in case something happens, you know? Ha ha. I did finish my leather belt pouch for SCA events though. Just big enough to carry my camera and a small wallet at the big events, so I can leave the purse at the tent when I don't want to carry it. Yay leather-working! >^_^< Making stuff is so much fun, everyone should do it. >^_^<
I made some kitty cat icons with some of my favorite recently found kitty pics. >^_^< Yay!
I can't use all of them on my LiveJournal, even with my LJ plus account (and I'll miss having my Pink icons available- it wasn't easy to find so many pics of Pink, the catgirl from Dragon Pink, back when I did those- *sniffle*), so I tried to pick out some of my favorites, and I'll post them all anyway. >^_^<
Ughhllll bleahhhhh! Zeus just had me try some pieces of rhubarb. Vile,
evil, lemon celery! Pure sour! Accchhhh!! Yuck! ...... *grumble* Even the dipping in sugar method doesn't make it worth eating. Bleh..
I'm still up.. I can barely see.. I'm going to stop for the night.
I read on their site that the second wave of closed beta testing will only be open until May 25th! Ack!
But I've been playing for a few hours each on two or three days now (several today), and I seem to be running out of things to do. More quests might open up after I complete the building of a house. Apparently, constructing the house takes 16 hours of playing to work on it if you have a Guild to join with 5 people who will build it with you, but if you don't, then lots longer. Sounds like that's one section of the game that could use some cut down for the final product, 'cause ouch on the time for that! Anyway, I've got some feedback recorded for the game. I'll write some more later. Need sleep. See ya! >^_^<
I woke up this morning having another one of those dreams where I wake up oddly, in and out of waking, trying to hold on to something, though it usually gets a bit confused by the time I reach consciousness.
This time the phrase to hold on to was a book title (though as far as I know a book that does not exist): The Double Coin- Impacting the Universe in 5 Easy Steps. I wonder what that means. I wonder what the book says.. As I was waking up and down (?), I went through the usual bits of confusion. "The Christian Coin..", "The Druid Coin.."? But I'm pretty sure The Double Coin- Impacting the Universe in 5 Easy Steps was the title I needed. So, yeah, wonder what it means. I also kind of wonder if it means anything that my mind shifted to Christian and Druid before it 'remembered' Double. Eh.
Need a laugh? Well, people seemed to enjoy my "top ten" list yesterday, so I thought I'd give you a link to someone else's...and this one's really fun! I present: Top 10 Signs You're Facing a "Wannabe".
Bright Blessings, CatGirl! I was just wandering around, and ran across your page, so I thought I'd say hello. Drop by my blog sometime...it's always open!
